I would say that analyzing the blood in a lab would be the best technique. Alec Jeffreys is known as the father of genetic profiling. I think I would like to work in a lab doing ballistics examination because I like to do a lot of puzzles and I believe that in some aspects it is like a big puzzle trying to figure out which gun fired the bullets at the scene.
